Welcome to Shadowspect

What Shadowspect does and the path from a list to an alert.

Shadowspect watches the companies and people you choose. It tells you when there is a reason to reach out, with the evidence.

The path

  1. Add a list. Import companies or people from a CSV, or paste them. See Lists.
  2. Create an automation. Pick the list, add signals, add an action, and choose how often it runs. See The builder.
  3. Turn it on. An Owner or Admin reviews the cost and turns the automation on. See Run and pause.
  4. Read the alerts. Each alert links to its evidence and goes to your Slack channel or webhook. See Alerts and evidence.

Words used in the app

  • A list holds companies or people. It never mixes the two.
  • A signal is something to watch for, written as a name and a prompt.
  • An automation is one list, its signals, its actions and one interval.
  • A check is one signal looking at one company or person. A successful check costs credits.
  • An alert is a result with evidence that Shadowspect sends to your action.
