Lists
Companies or people to watch, and how to find them.
A list is a group of companies or a group of people. A list never mixes the two.
Contacts lists need the Pro plan. On Free you can still open and export Contacts lists you already have.
After an import, Shadowspect looks up each company's LinkedIn page for you. It is free. Open a list to see each page and where it came from: Found by Shadowspect, Added by you, Finding... or Not found. Select Add it or Change to set the page yourself. Shadowspect never replaces a page you set.
Accounts and Contacts each show a table of your lists. A list sits in a folder. Imported lists go to the folder "Imported CSVs" unless you choose another when you import. Pick a folder above the table to see only its lists, or create, rename and delete folders. Deleting a folder moves its lists to the default folder.
Each row shows the list, its size, the automations that use it and the last run. Use the row menu to move a list to another folder. A list can be used by several automations, and an automation watches exactly one list.
- Use in automation starts a draft automation on that list.
- Export downloads the list as a CSV in the same columns as the template.
- Upload CSV imports a new list. A header-only template is linked on the page.
Entries
A company entry is identified by its website domain. A person entry is identified by their LinkedIn profile URL. Every entry needs a name.
Deleting a list
If you delete a list, automations that use it stop. They stay as history. You can also delete a list's history early.
Finding entries
- Search with the box at the top, or press ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows).
- Open a list to see its entries.
- The Dashboard shows how many accounts and contacts an active automation tracks.
