Where results go
Actions, alerts and evidence.
An action sends alerts to a Slack channel or a customer webhook.
- Add up to 10 actions in the builder.
- Every alert goes to every action you add. Each action is delivered and retried on its own, so one failing action does not stop the others.
- You need at least one action to turn an automation on.
- HubSpot, Salesforce and Clay actions are not available yet.
Connect Slack and webhooks first in Settings, under Integrations and Webhooks. See Slack and webhooks.
If a delivery fails, Shadowspect tries again several times over about a day. Retries never cost credits. The alert page shows the status of each action and a Retry button for a failed one.
An alert is a result that Shadowspect reviewed and found supported by evidence. Each alert links to a page with the evidence.
How it is made
A check can find a candidate change. Shadowspect then reviews it: is it the right company or person, is it supported, is it relevant to your business context, and is it new. Only then does it become an alert and go to your actions.
Delivery
An alert existing does not mean it was delivered. Delivery is tracked on its own, with its own retries.
How long it is kept
Alerts and evidence are kept for 90 days on Free and 180 days on Pro. The saved starting point of each signal is not deleted, so the next check still compares.
